TIM GUBBINS
Graduated from Deakin University in November 1984 and commenced his accounting career with Day Neilson Jenkins & Johns in Geelong. While working with this firm, he completed his Professional Year programme with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Tim relocated to Shepparton with his wife Mary and family in 1992. Tim went into partnership with Rob MacLennan in 1999, then established his own practise in 2011, at 60 Skene Street, Shepparton, Victoria.
Tim enjoys working with his clients, explaining in clear language, tax compliance, Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax, business management and wealth creation. Tim especially enjoys having a good laugh with his clients.
To wind down, Tim enjoys playing golf, cycling, reading and spending time with his wife Mary and children William and Alice.
ERISA VEIS
Erisa moved to Australia from Albania in August 2012
with an Albanian degree in Finance. She joined our firm in June 2014 and has recently completed her Advanced Diploma in Accounting with excellent results. She has also enrolled for her Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Finance) at Swinburne University. Erisa assists in preparing and processing Self-Managed Superannuation Fund returns as well as assisting with ASIC compliance. Outside work Erisa is a busy mother and she loves spending time with her small family. She loves craft, fashion and decoration as well as listening to music.
LAUREN ZUIHONG
Lauren came to Australia from China in 2016 to pursue her Master’s degree.
After graduating from the University of Sydney with the major a Master of Commerce, Lauren worked for one year in a big four accounting firm.
Lauren chased a new lifestyle to Shepparton in 2020.
She is currently working as a graduate accountant in this firm, and studying towards her Chartered Accountant qualification.
In her spare time, Lauren loves reading, writing, hanging out with friends and making music.
DANNY WHYTE
Danny joined the team at Tim Gubbins Chartered Accountants in July 2016. He completed his Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Finance) at Charles Sturt University in 2011, and became a member of Chartered Accountants Australia in 2015. Danny holds key leadership positions on various boards and committees in the Goulburn Valley. He was awarded the Young Victorian CA Award in 2021 by the Victorian Council of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. When not at work, Danny enjoys spending time with family and friends, donating blood and plasma, going to the gym, playing hockey and dancing, particularly Rock & Roll, Salsa and Swing.
ALISON CARDWELL
Alison grew up in Echuca before moving to Shepparton in December 2014 where she began working for Tim as an undergraduate.
In 2016 she completed her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at La Trobe University in Shepparton with excellent results.
Alison manages our clients’ Self-Managed Superannuation Funds which benefit from Alison’s maturity, attention to detail and hard work.
Alison enjoys Pilates exercises, spending time with her friends and family as well as her cat Gypsy.

AMANDA BRADY
Amanda graduated from the University of Southern Queensland in 1984 and developed her skills in tax and management accounting before establishing her own practice. After 15 years in her own practice, Amanda changed direction, teaching accounting to TAFE and secondary school students. Ten years later, Amanda returned to accounting and joined this firm in 2019. She enjoys helping clients and away from work, Amanda spends time with her family and pets, when she isn’t reading.
ABBI McKENZIE
Abbi completed Year 12 in December 2020 and decided to take on a traineeship. Abbi really likes hands-on-learning and maths has always been an interest of hers. Abbi began working here in February 2021 as a trainee receptionist.
She is studying to receive her Certificate III in Business. When not at work Abbi enjoys spending time with her family and friends and exercising.
